Every adverse claim links to a primary document. ## The distinction this site exists to make Telehealth companies selling "GLP-1 weight loss" are selling two different things under one name. FDA-APPROVED: Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and the approved oral versions. Reviewed by the FDA for safety and effectiveness. COMPOUNDED: semaglutide or tirzepatide prepared by a compounding pharmacy. NOT an FDA-approved product. Compounding is legal. The FDA neither approves nor licenses compounding facilities, and it is not accurate to describe a compounded drug as a generic version of, or the same as, an approved one. Prices differ by roughly tenfold between the two ($19.99 to $1,199 a month across this record), which is usually the real reason one provider is cheaper than another. Current split: 47 compounded only, 34 both, 17 FDA-approved only. ## Enforcement 78 of 98 providers have at least one sourced regulatory or legal action on record — 96 in total. Between September 2025 and March 2026 the FDA issued roughly 85 warning letters to telehealth companies over compounded GLP-1 marketing, and in February 2026 moved to restrict the active ingredients used in non-approved compounded products. What varies is whether they supply compounded or FDA-approved medication, what that costs, and what regulators have published about them.
