July 2026
The FTC, the State of Utah and Los Angeles County sued Hims & Hers Health, Inc. in the Northern District of California under FTC Act section 5 and ROSCA, alleging the company disclosed customers' health information to advertising platforms including Meta and Snap, charged consumers before the promised provider consultation, and obstructed cancellation; allegations unproven. Hers is the same legal entity.
March 2026
Novo Nordisk sued Hims & Hers for infringement of US Patent 8,129,343 in the District of Delaware on 9 February 2026 (No. 1:26-cv-00143) and voluntarily dismissed it without prejudice on 9 March 2026, expressly reserving the right to refile, under an agreement in which Hims & Hers stopped advertising compounded GLP-1s and began distributing Novo's FDA-approved semaglutide.
